Amy Mehlhoff has a long history of working in the human services field doing everything from therapeutic daycare to helping parents of children with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges advocate and find resources in rural communities. She also has 5 years of experience from working in daycare environments which helped her learn how to lesson-plan and understand the importance of flexibility and working as a team. She is earning her associate degree in human services and substance abuse counseling from Nicolet College and plans to go on and get her bachelor’s degree in social work.
Amy has lived in Alaska and Wisconsin and worked closely with indigenous populations, and is eager to share her knowledge and passion at Summit Counseling. She is excited to work with Summit Counseling as part of the support staff to create a space for youth to grow into their best selves.
