Oceana is a senior studying psychology at Brigham Young University. Prior to focusing on psychology, she studied early childhood education, where she discovered a passion for understanding the human mind and helping others. This experience helped shape her desire to pursue a career in mental health and counseling.

After graduation, Oceana plans to pursue a master’s degree in psychology and hopes to work abroad as an international counselor. She was drawn to Summit Counseling Solutions because of the organization’s commitment to supporting both teens and their families. She has previous experience working with children and adolescents, including volunteering at a Children’s Justice Center.

Oceana is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, reading, cooking, and continually learning new things.
