Biography
Kimi has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University and has worked in the behavioral health field for over a decade. She began her career in local residential treatment centers, where she developed a deep commitment to serving adolescents and their families.
Over the years, Kimi has provided behavioral health services in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, homes, and clinics. She has supported youth with neurodiverse needs and trauma histories and completed extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to better meet the unique challenges these populations face.
Kimi currently manages the programming department at Summit Counseling Solutions. She is passionate about building resilience and supporting families as they navigate mental health challenges.
Originally from the forests of northern Virginia, Kimi moved to Provo to attend BYU and has grown to love Utah’s mountain landscapes. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, making music, reading compelling stories, eating spicy food, and snuggling under cozy blankets. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her four rowdy teenagers, who keep life interesting and full of adventure.
