Biography

Kate Plato has spent her 29- year marketing career helping individuals and teams from Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies increase market share and drive business with results driven marketing strategy and content. Kate is a sought-after consultant with a reputation for getting results and has had the privilege of helping clients including Wal-Mart, JC Penny, Wells Fargo, McDonalds, FranklinCovey, Pizza Hut, and Lifetouch launch products, develop compelling campaigns, establish relationship-based, repeat business and drive sales with sound marketing strategy and meticulous execution.

The desire to align inspiration and purpose with talent and tenacity, lured Kate into the mental and behavioral health industry where she’s spent the last four years assisting local organizations within the mental and behavioral healthcare industry to develop and execute marketing strategy that drives awareness and education for their respective products and services in an industry always looking to offer and share the best resources with people who need them.

What started with curiosity progressed to preoccupation and soon inspired Kate to devote her tenacity, expertise, and energy to bringing together and marketing evidence based, mental health best practices, resources, and solutions to combat some of the industries toughest adolescent mental health problems.   With help from the talented team assembled to lead Summit Counseling Solutions, Kate and her colleagues work tirelessly to continue to bring together and refine the very best resources, support, and services currently offered by Summit Counseling Solutions.

In addition to her role as CEO of Summit Counseling Solutions, Kate enjoys taking on consulting projects that allow her to “leap tall marketing obstacles with a single bound”, doting on her three amazing daughters, and being lovingly driven to distraction by her ADHD infused, right-hand, white knight of a husband. Two polarly opposite peas in a pod, together they are tireless champions of healthy, happy families.
