Conrad Nebeker is a dedicated professional with a 15-year track record in the fields of Behavioral Health and Special Education as a Teacher, Art Therapist, Academic Advisor, and Special Education Coordinator. With a passion for understanding data paired with his background in art and its profound impact on self-exploration, he has dedicated his career intertwining self-expression as a potent modality to explore art, DBT’s skill-building practices, and understanding academic success to help his students succeed.
Conrad graduated with a bachelor’s in fine arts from Brigham Young University, where he honed his artistic talents and developed a deep appreciation for the power of creativity in healing and personal growth. Armed with this knowledge, he embarked on a journey to merge his artistic passion with his desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives, leading him to the fields of behavioral health and special education and obtaining a Certification in Special Education from Weber State University.
Over the course of his career, Conrad has been an unwavering advocate for using art as a therapeutic tool, particularly through the lens of DBT and skill development. His innovative and holistic approach has allowed countless students to explore their emotions, traumas, and challenges through various artistic mediums, fostering self-awareness and emotional healing.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Conrad embraces life to the fullest as a fun-loving outdoors explorer and a proud husband and father of four. His adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors naturally extend into his own therapeutic practices, where he often incorporates nature-based activities in the rugged mountains and the expansive desert to reflect and draw inspiration.
