Alyssa is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish Studies at Brigham Young University. She plans to continue her education in graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in either Psychology or Social Work.

Alyssa has previous experience as a mentor in residential treatment centers, where she developed a strong passion for supporting individuals facing challenges. Her interest in the field is also deeply personal, as she has seen the impact of mental health challenges within her own family. She is especially interested in working with minority populations and studying how acculturation affects mental health.

Outside of work and school, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, cooking and baking, and swing dancing.
